At what time can I check in?

At Hotel de Sterrenberg you are welcome at any time of the day. Our hotel rooms are available from 15:00. Before your room is ready you are welcome to use our facilities.

At what time do I have to check out?

At Hotel de Sterrenberg we kindly ask you to check out before 11:00 unless when we specify otherwise

Is there an elevator?

We have an elevator that can take you to our first and second floor

Is there a secure bicycle storage?

You can store your bicycle in our locked bicycle storage. The storage opens with your room pass. In the storage there are also outlets where you can charge your electric bicycle.

Can I charge my bicycle at the hotel?

At the hotel we have a secure bicycle storage where you can store your bicycle after a nice tour over the veluwe. In the bicycle storage we have outlets where you can charge your bicycle.

Is there enough parking space?

At our wellness hotel we have sufficiënt parking space for our hotel guests. Using our parking lot is free of charge for our hotel guests and guests of restaurant Cèpes, if not we charge €5,-. Next to the regular parking spaces we have 4 parking spaces with a charging point for your electric car.

Can I charge my electric car on your parking lot?

On our parking lot we have 4 charging stations for your electric car. You can use these stations with your own charging plan.

Can I smoke in the hotel?

Smoking is forbidden in the hotel en restaurant sector in the Netherlands and Hotel de Sterrenberg. Inside the hotel and on the terrace smoking is forbidden. We do have a smoker friendly spot where you can smoke freely.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

At our reception you can purchase gift vouchers for our hotel, wellness and restaurant Cèpes. We can send the vouchers to you by mail. We only send the vouchers after we received payment for them.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Uniform Conditions of Hospitality (UVH)

This Agreement applies to the Uniform Conditions of Hospitality (UFS). This includes the cancellation, no-show and (on) payment terms. Except as follows:

Cancellation of whole meeting:

Cancellation of the entire meeting up to 4 months before arrival free of charge.

Up to 3 months before arrival, the meeting may remain in option. If we receive another final request, you must enter 24 hours to complete the meeting

If canceled more than 3 months before arrival, we charge 10% of the reservation value

If canceled more than 2 months before arrival, we calculate 15% of the reservation value

If canceled more than 1 month before arrival, we calculate 35% of the reservation value

If canceled more than 14 days before arrival, we calculate 60% of the reservation value

If canceled more than 7 days before arrival, we calculate 85% of the reservation value

If canceled 7 days or less before arrival, we calculate 100% of the reservation value

Cancellation of individual participants:

No later than 1 week before commencement, we will receive the final number of participants per meeting which is binding on the invoice. Cancellation of individual participants (up to 10% of the total number of participants) up to 1 week before arrival free of charge, from 1 week to 3 days before arrival we charge 35%, 1 day before arrival we charge 100% of the conference package.

Private groups

Cancellation of the entire group up to 3 months before arrival free of charge.

If canceled more than 2 months before arrival, we calculate 15% of the reservation value

If canceled more than 1 month before arrival, we calculate 35% of the reservation value

If canceled more than 14 days before arrival, we calculate 60% of the reservation value

If canceled more than 7 days before arrival, we calculate 85% of the reservation value

If canceled 7 days or less before arrival, we calculate 100% of the reservation value

Individual rooms

Individual rooms with breakfast:

Cancellation of the entire reservation up to 2 days before arrival free of charge.

Individual half-board rooms:

If canceled more than 7 days before arrival, no charge.

If canceled 3 to 7 days before arrival, we calculate 50% of the reservation value.

If canceled 3 days or less, we calculate 100% of the reservation value.

Can I take my pet(s) to the hotel?

Pets are not allowed inside the hotel.
